JBL CBT 70JE-1 70 cm Extension for CBT 70J-1 Line Array, 4 x 5” Drivers. 500W continuous pink noise, 8 ohms, linking bracket included, 70 cm tall for 140 cm tall CBT 70J-1/JE-1 array, connect 70J-1 and 70JE-1 in parallel. (priced and sold individually). Combined with CBT 70J-1, system response is 45 Hz – 20 kHz with well controlled pattern to 250 Hz.

Purpose-Designed Extension for CBT 70J-1 Line Array Column Speaker

The CBT 70JE-1 Extension, when connected to a CBT 70J-1 line array column speaker, is designed to provide extended pattern control, increased sound output levels and extended bass response. The combined array system is providing Constant Beamwidth Technology™, representing a breakthrough in utilizing complex analog beamforming, pattern control consistency and amplitude tapering to accomplish consistent, superior vertical coverage even in the absence or without the narrow vertical beaming and out-of-coverage lobing that are typical of passive column speakers.
