Your Sound Devices 833, 888, or Scorpio mixer/recorder may seamlessly integrate wireless receivers with the help of the Sound Devices SL-2, a tough, lightweight, and small dual SuperSlot wireless module. It attaches to your recorder, plugs right in, and draws electricity from it, making it an excellent complement to a production sound bag.

The SL-2 provides four audio channels per slot and takes two UniSlot or SuperSlot wireless receivers. The in-slot receivers' analog or digital audio can be used by it. Four channels of AES3 digital audio can be accommodated by the two TA3 inputs on the back panel. With two Hirose 4-pin DC outputs and two MCX antenna ports, the SL-2 provides antenna and power distribution with a maximum of 500mA per port.

To access wireless receiver capabilities including RF scan, receiver setup, RF frequency adjustment, transmitter status, RF and audio level monitoring, transmitter recording status, and more (available features vary depending on receivers), use the menus on your Sound Devices 8-Series mixer/recorder.
